RPE65
A layer of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells isolated from a cow eye fluoresce brightly red when stained with an antibody to the RPE65 protein. Nuclei are stained blue with a nuclear-specific dye. Many RPE cells are binucleated. (Photomicrograph courtesy of R.N. Fariss, NEI).
