NEI 40th Anniversary

Kevin Lazo

Kevin received his B.S. in human biology from Cornell University and his M.S. in pharmacology from Georgetown University.

Kevin joined the N-NRL in June 2009. Currently, he is working on 1) inducing differentiation of human ES cells towards retinal cell types, with eventual transplantation into the retina; and 2) investigating the role of DNMT1 (DNA Methyltransferase-1) in retinal cell-fate specification and maintenance of photoreceptors.
