Molecular and Developmental Biology - Genetics of Glaucoma
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Section of Molecular Mechanisms of Glaucoma, Laboratory of Molecular and Developmental Biology within the Division of Intramural Research, National Eye Institute (NEI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) located in Bethesda, MD. The position is intended to develop mouse models of glaucoma and to characterize several genes and proteins implicated in glaucoma.
Applicants must have a strong background in molecular and cellular biology and less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. For an Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Fellowship, applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident; for a Visiting Fellowship, visa requirements apply. Stipend range is $35,000 - $48,100 per year, commensurate with experience.
