NEI’s National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) offers disease- and audience-specific programs for health educators. Through the NEHEP Partnership, NEI works with over 60 national partner organizations to support eye health education programs.

Office of Minority Health (OMH)

Mission: OMH’s mission is to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations by developing health policies and programs to help eliminate health disparities.

Prevent Blindness

Mission: The mission of Prevent Blindness is to prevent blindness and preserve sight. Prevent Blindness is focused on promoting a continuum of vision care and touch the lives of millions of people each year through education, advocacy, trainings, engagement programs, and public health research.

And through their Children's Vision Equity Alliance, they advance equity in children’s vision and eye health.

Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB)

Mission: POB is dedicated to improving and preserving sight and quality of life. They provide services and education and champion healthy vision and innovation to everyone in their area.

Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)

Mission: RSA provides leadership and resources to assist state and other agencies in providing vocational rehabilitation and other services to individuals with disabilities.

They maximize people’s employment, independence, and integration into the community and the competitive labor market.

Research to Prevent Blindness, Inc. (RPB)

Mission: RPB’s mission is to preserve and restore vision by supporting research to develop treatments, preventives, and cures for all conditions that damage and destroy sight.

Salud America!

Mission: Salud America! is a national Latino-focused organization that creates culturally relevant and research-based stories, videos, and tools to inspire healthy changes to policies, systems, and environments to create equity for Latino children and families.

The mission of Salud America! is to inspire people to drive community change for the health of Latino and all families.

The Glaucoma Foundation (TGF)

Mission: TGF is dedicated to improving the lives of people with glaucoma.

They work to encourage and support basic and applied research in glaucoma with a goal of preserving and restoring vision.

The Vision Council

Mission: The mission of The Vision Council is to position members for success by promoting growth in the vision care industry through education, advocacy, research, and outreach with consumers and professionals.

Ventanillas de Salud

Mission: The mission of Ventanillas de Salud is to promote a culture of preventive health care among Mexicans and their families living in the United States.

They provide information, education, counseling, and quality referrals in a safe and friendly environment through local health agencies.

Vision Forward

Mission: Vision Forward’s mission is to empower, educate, and enhance the lives of individuals impacted by vision loss through all of life’s transitions.

They provide a continuum of services, from birth through adulthood, to help people with visual impairment achieve important developmental milestones, as well as educational, personal, and professional goals.

VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (VISIONS)

Mission: VISIONS’ purpose is to develop and implement individualized programs to assist people who are blind and visually impaired of all ages to lead independent and active lives.

VISIONS also educates the public to understand this community’s capabilities and needs.

VisionServe Alliance

Mission: VisionServe Alliance’s mission is to engage leaders in building a better world through services for people with vision loss.

They aim to be a leader and the unifying voice in the field of services for people with vision loss for advocacy, education, ethical management, professional growth, and enhanced services.

Women's Eye Health

Mission: Women’s Eye Health shares health information to educate and empower women to preserve and take care of their vision.
