The National Eye Institute (NEI), Division of Intramural Research (DIR), VRRS, functions as lead IC for the Building 49 Central Animal Facility which provides animal care services to six (6) ICs on the NIH Bethesda campus. The Building 49 Central Animal Facility houses approximately over 20,000 cages of rodents and over 500 cages of NHP in support of the mission of six (6) ICs occupying the facility.

  • Enviro-Kleen 100 is a chemically balanced cleaning compound designed specifically for re- circulating spray washing systems.
  • WWN-1 is a highly-aIkaIine, liquid caustic that raises the pH of acidic solutions.
  • Quiptrol 3000 is a ready-to-use liquid chlorine dioxide concentrate that can be applied in one step, at room temperature, to water via simple chemical feed pump that is approved by US EPA for water purification.



Payment will be made 30 days after internal receiving in NIH system.

Closing Statement: This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice.  Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM)
