7. BASIS OF AWARD

Product Specification:

The requirement is for the purchase of V-Probes. These v-probes are particularly designed to penetrate the relatively strong dura mater of our research animals.  This novel model is longer than our typical probes and has more channels, which will allow us to record from several cortical areas simultaneously on a single penetration. The lab has extensive experience with the typical variant of these probes, and our lab and recording setup is customized to use these specifically.
