Webinar on the New AMD Integrative Biology Initiative - A Community Resource of Patient iPSC lines
The National Eye Institute (NEI) and New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute (NYSCF) are hosting an event to highlight the newly launched Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Integrative Biology Initiative. Topics of discussion for this webinar:
- The value of patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) for AMD research and therapeutic discovery
- Information about the collection of AMD iPSC lines now available to the research community, how they were generated, and the rigorous quality control used
- How to obtain corresponding clinical data through the NEI Data Commons - overview of portal, what data is available, and how to request access
