Research interests: My primary interest involves using retinal organoids as model system to study the effect of specific gene mutations on retinal degeneration. I am currently working on modeling KIZ associated retinitis pigmentosa and CLRN1 associated Usher Syndrome type III using patient specific retinal organoids.
