Research interests: I am interested in the role of genetic variations in neurodegeneration, and I hope to apply advances in molecular genetics toward understanding these pathways. My current project focuses on understanding the role of the noncoding genome on gene expression and dysfunction as it pertains to primary open angle glaucoma.
