Developing Medical Countermeasures To Treat the Acute and Chronic Effects of Ocular Chemical Toxicity

The purpose of this meeting is to advance our current understanding of available acute and chronic models of corneal injuries and recovery. The target audiences include researchers engaged in developing therapeutic approaches and medical countermeasures (MCMs) against ocular pathologies resulting from exposure to chemical toxicants as well as government stakeholders and funding agencies.

This trans-agency scientific meeting is a joint effort between the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (DoD), and National Eye Institute.
