Biography

Mala Dutta graduated in Microbiology and Biotechnology from Delhi University, India. She did her Ph.D in Immunology in 2014 at National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI/NIH) under Dr. Pam Schwartzberg through The George Washington University-NIH Graduate Partnership Program (GPP).

After a brief tenure at the NIAID tech transfer office, Dr. Dutta qualified as Presidential Management Fellow, and joined the NEI Tech transfer office in 2015. Dr. Dutta is the authorized lead of the office and serves at the NEI Technology Development Coordinator. She advises and manages the Technology Transfer affairs of the institute.
