NEI Technology Transfer Office (NEI TTO)

The NEI Technology Transfer Office (NEI TTO) is committed to furthering the institute’s mission by working closely with NEI investigators to facilitate development of novel inventions and collaborative relationships between NEI investigators and the broader scientific community. NEI TTO contracts services from the NCI service center and is an expert in technology transfer and intellectual property and is NEI’s main resource for negotiating technology transfer agreements.

NEI TTO oversees and manages NEI patent portfolio and should be contacted for any licensing interest.

A listing of Model Tech Transfer Agreements (MTAs, CDAs, CRADAs and Licensing Agreements) provided here are for reference only. Most agreements must be negotiated, approved, and signed by the NEI TTO. Resources | Technology Transfer (nih.gov)

NEI Technologies for Licensing

NEI technologies range from small molecules to cell and gene therapy for ocular diseases as well as diagnostics and biological materials as research tools. These technologies are available for licensing and collaboration and can be searched here: Search (nih.gov)
