Update: Regrettably, NEI will be unable to offer this year’s winners a trip to the NIH campus for an in-person recognition event, due to cuts in government budgets. However, cash prizes will still be offered to the creators of the best video in each category.

For more than 50 years, the National Eye Institute (NEI) has been on the front lines of vision research to help us all see a better tomorrow. That’s why they launched the Eye on the Future Teen Video Contest—to encourage U.S. high school students from all backgrounds to explore science—because tomorrow starts with young people who will take science into the future.

Entering is easy, just:

  1. Choose a category: Science in your World, Science in Action, or Science in your Future.
  2. Create a video by themselves or in a small group (three maximum).
  3. Submit by April 20.

The winning entry from each category will get a cash prize.
