Support services, educational and social programs, and medical / research conferences featuring top physicians and researchers with successful experience in aniridia to help educate people with aniridia, their families, and the medical community. AFI's research program includes the AFI Medical Registry which will provide researchers with data to help with better vision saving treatments, creating advances in research for those with aniridia and others who live with conditions which actually "make up" the aniridia syndrome such as glaucoma, corneal scarring, cataracts, retinal issues, diabetes and autism spectrum disorders.
